The Supreme Court of the United States rendered its decision in GE Energy Power Conversion France SAS v. Outokumpu Stainless USA LLC (S. Ct. 2020)
On 1 June 2020, the US Supreme Court held that the New York Convention does not conflict with domestic equitable estoppel doctrines that permit the enforcement of arbitration agreements by nonsignatories.
