The Court adopted the magistrate judge’s recommendation to grant Sompo’s motion to compel arbitration of the insurance dispute between the parties. The magistrate judge had concluded that Art. II(3) of the New York Convention is not reverse-preempted by national insurance law prohibiting arbitration clauses in insurance contracts.
