Summary

The Court held that the statute of the International Federation of the World Football Association (FIFA) gives the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) exclusive jurisdiction to order provisional measures of protection. It therefore annulled the order by which it had granted the provisional measure sought by the claimants, enjoining the Asociación de Fútbol Argentino from adopting certain articles of the 2022 Football Agent Regulations of the FIFA to govern football agency services in Argentina.
